7.5- parking lot

"it's a note, and it's in CHINESE!!!!"

-A friend really excited to see the note left on her windshield by our new Saudi Arabian friends who are here at UNT to learn English.

Dear Farmer,

You do great work, and since discovering The Quote Farm, I've begun to classify sentences or snippets of conversation on a farm worthy scale. As a seasoned contributor (I stake claim to the "bedazzled" quote from the Olympics), I humbly submit the following:

"Rob, pesto is meat, cheese, mayonaise and supermodels."

Please find the full explanation here: http://www.lifeofbasil.com/cms/index.php?itemid=53

keep up the good work,
Allison

Thanks so much for your very kind words. I am honored that you consider your sentences on a farm worthy scale. I think it is so fun to pay attention to everyday stuff in that manner. Hopefully you are finding it enjoyable too.

I always appreciate your family's contributions to the quote farm. I met your mom two weeks ago and she talked about the quote farm. That really cracked me up.

Thanks for the submission, however I sadly do not fully understand the supermodel part. Is it in reference to the vegitables and the skinny models, or enticement to get Rob to eat the pesto and get over his adversion to veggies.

I enjoyed your food site.

talk to you later

I'm glad you enjoyed the site (and our family.)

Since our friend Rob doesn't eat vegetables, I thought that a recipe including supermodels would seem super yummy and inticing to him. It's probably better if you know Rob...
